The Secretary General of the Union Participates in the Occasion of Disbursement of Funds for the Fatherless Children by the Faaruq Organisation in Mali
The General Secretary of the Union of African Muslim Scholars, Dr. Saheed Muhammad Babasila, on Sunday 7th Rajab, 1444, corresponding with 29th January, 2023 participated in the ceremony marked to disburse the stipends of January 2022 to December, 2022 for the Fatherless children under the care of Faruq Organisation. The project was funded by the Emirate Red Crescent Foundation. The beneficiaries of the fund are up to 3,058 fatherless children.
Some of the dignitaries who graced the occasion include the representatives of the Ministry of Health and Social Development, Umar Ajara, Religious Affairs and Worship Ministry, Mr Dim Sika and the Executive Director of Faruq Foundation, Dr Yaya Goore and other preachers, clerics and former ministers.
