Knights of the Holy Quran competition in its first session in the Republic of Mali

 The final round of the Knights of the Holy Quran competition was conducted, which was organized by several women Islamic societies in the Republic of Mali.

 

It is the competition between the winners in the previous national Quranic competitions. Today, Sunday, 26 Safar 1443 AH, corresponding to October 03, 2021, at the Sports Palace in the Hamdallah Assi 2000 district in Bamako, at 09:30 am, under the theme The Skilled in the Quran is with the Righteous angels.

 The initial screening took place between 16th-18th Safar 1443 AH corresponding to 23rd-25th in the Al-Sheikh Mosque of the Al-Farouq Organization in Mali.

 

A large gathering of attendees and several personalities in the country and representatives of international, regional, and local associations, bodies, and organizations participated in the event, including: the Minister of Religious Affairs and Worship in Mali; and Sheikh Imam Mahmud Deko; The President of the Islamic Supreme Council of Mali, Sheikh Sherif Uthman Madan Haidara; and the president of the Mali Association for Unity and Progress, Sheikh Ishak Traoré; the Secretary General of the Union of African Scholars, Dr. Said Mohamed Baba Sila; Executive Director Dr. Omar Bamba; Member of the Fatwa and Guidance Committee in the Union Administration Office and President of the Association of Preachers in Mali, Sheikh Mohamed Traoré; Assistant Secretary-General for Financial Affairs and Director-General of Al-Farouq Organization Sheikh Ibrahim Kontau; Member of the Media and Public Relations Committee in the Union Administration Office, President of the Union of Holy Quran Memorization Centers and Schools in Mali, and Vice President of the Preachers Association in Mali, Dr. Uthman Saleh Traore; And many members of the Union of African Scholars in the country of headquarters who were in the organizing committee of the competition, including: Dr. Ismail Abdulkadir Doukuri, Vice Rector of Toba University in Bamako, and Dr. Umar Bakari Jakiti and other members of the union in the headquarters Republic of Mali, in particular the President of the Association of Female Preachers in Mali and a member of the Endowments Committee in the Union Administration Office, Hajia Maryam Coulibaly.
