Participation of the Secretary-General of the Union of African Muslim Scholars and some members in the opening ceremony of the program distributing food baskets to the needy in Mali.

 

The Secretary-General of the Union, Dr. Saeed Mohamed Baba Sylla, participated on Tuesday, 22 Jumada al-Akhira 1446 AH, corresponding to 24 December 2024 AD, in the launching ceremony of the event of distributing food basket to about 6,200 needy people in Mali.
It is a project to support food security in the Republic of Mali in 2024 from the King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia), implemented by the Al-Farouk Organization, which is headed and managed by Sheikh Ibrahim Kontau, Assistant Secretary-General for Financial Affairs.
The ceremony was attended by official figures from the country, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Mali, and a delegation from the King Salman Center.
Members of the Union of African Scholars in the headquarters country participated in the ceremony.
