The Secretary-General participates in a consultation meeting between the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Worship and Customs, and religious associations and denominations

On this day, Tuesday, February 10, 2026, His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Union of African Scholars, Dr. Said Mohamed Baba Sylla, and members of the headquarters country, participated in the opening ceremony of the consultation framework meeting between the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Worship and Customs in Mali and the local religious associations and denominations, which was held at the Bamako International Center. For conferences, headed by His Excellency the Minister of Religious Affairs, Worship and Customs of Mali, Dr. Mohamed Kony.
This important meeting, which falls under the slogan of dialogue, peace and social stability, comes with the aim of strengthening cooperation between the state and religious actors in order to maintain national cohesion.
The Minister was accompanied on this occasion by his counterpart in charge of reconciliation, peace and national cohesion, in a clear indication of the government’s commitment to establishing a climate of lasting peace and promoting the values ​​of coexistence.
