From Niami on the shore of Niger.

          Today’s morning, 15 November, 2017, starts the International Academic Symposium on the Security of Civilians in Armed Conflicts under the Islamic and International Humanitarian Laws, organized by the International Committee for Redcross in collaboration with Islamic University of Niger. The opening ceremony took place under the auspice of the Niger Minister of Higher Education, Academic Research and Invention.

            The symposium continues two days wherein papers from researchers on the subject of the symposium will be presented .

             The President of Union of African Scholars, Dr. Sai’d Burhan Abdullah; the General Secretary , Dr. Sai’d Muhammad Babasila ; his eminence, Shaykh Muhammad Tarure, a  member of the Membership Committee of the Union and other participants from 16 African Countries will be gracing the symposium.
