CONDOLENCE OVER THE DEATH OF DR ADAM SUNKURI

 (May Allaah be pleased with him)

All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon the seal of all Prophets and Apostles, his household and his entire companions. With submission to the will and predestination of Allah, we received the news of the demise of his eminence, Dr. Adam Sunkure who was an honourary member of the Union of African Muslim Scholars; former President, League of Muslim Missionaries in Mali; Chairman, National Congress for Muslim Scholars which is an affiliate of Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs in Mali; and also a member of the Supreme Council for Mosque Affairs, an affiliate of the Muslim World League. He passed away on the night of Monday, Jumaada al -Ulaa 1440H. corresponding to 7/1/2019 at the city of Bamako.

On behalf of the president and entire members of Union of African Muslim Scholars, we tender our sincere condolence to the deceased’s family, citizens of Mali and the entire Muslim Ummah praying Allah to forgive, bless and elevate him among the guided ones. “Indeed, we are from Allah and to Him we shall return “.
