Condolence 
“And certainly, We shall test you with something of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits, but give glad tidings to As-Sãbirun (the patient). Those who, when afflicted with calamity, say :“Truly, to Allah we belong and truly, to Him we shall return”.They are those on whom are the blessings from their Lord, and they are those who recieve His mercy, and it is they who are the guided ones. ” In consonance to these verses, we are afflicted at Union of African Muslim Scholars with a great loss; the death of Dr Yahya Abdullahi Ahmad, a great scholar who was the Head of Planning and Supervision Committee of the Union; Head of Local Committee of Chad branch of the Union and also the founder of Ar-Rashad Foundation. He took his final bow in Cairo on Monday morning 28 Shawwal, 1440, corresponding with 1st of July, 2019 in the course of receiving medical treatment for the injury incurred in a motor accident recently.
The Union, on behalf of its President and entire members, tenders its condolence to the deceased ‘s family, the Chadian citizens and the entire Muslim Ummah, beseeching Allah in His infinite mercy to forgive and bless him; elevate his position among the guided ones and raise a substitute from among his descendants. “Indeed, we are from Allah and to Him we shall return ”.
