Participation of some members of the Union of African Muslim Scholars from the headquarter county in the regional advocacy forum for peace and social harmony at the Kai region of the Republic of Mali.
Some members of the headquarter country participated in the regional advocacy forum for peace and social harmony organized by the Association of Preachers in Mali in the first region (Kai region) which lasted for four days from Rajab 22 1443 AH corresponding to February 24, 2022 AD to Rajab 26 1443 AH corresponding to February 27, 2022 AD.
This forum comprises of executive and regional officers of the Association in Kai, who are prominent imams and preachers, and great advocates.
Some of the Union members who participated in the forum are:
1. Sheikh Mohamed Traore, President of the League of Preachers in Mali and a member of the Ifta and Guidance Committee of the Union of African Muslim Scholars
2. Dr. Umar Bamba, Executive Director of the General Secretariat, the Union of African Muslim Scholars.
3. Dr. Ahmed Boli, Assistant General Secretary for Legal Affairs, and member of the Union of African Muslim Scholars.
4. Dr. Ibrahim Kebi is a member of the Union of African Muslim Scholars in the headquarter country.
5. Sheikh Ahmad Sila, member of the Union of African Muslim Scholars
6. Dr. Mahmoud Koma, Vice President of the Local Committee and a member of the Union of African Muslim Scholars
The delegation commenced its activities with visits to some dignitaries and officials in the region. some of the visited dignitaries are:
– Governor of the province. Mr. Colonel Somare.
– Mayor of the municipality/ represented by the General Secretary.
– Regional Advisory Council/ its president, Mr. Benjoku Gaura, and his assistants.
– President of the Islamic Supreme Council of Kai and Limama Ahmad Fofana
The forum also included a series of lectures, pulpit speeches, and intellectual sessions, under various socio-related topics. These topics are:
– Peaceful homes; methods and elements.
-Ahl al-Bayt, its definition, characteristics, and rights.
– The Methodology for seeking knowledge
-Islam between the ignorance of its children and the aggression of its enemies
-Teamwork and its role in advocacy reform
-The right belief
