The Occasion of Distributing the Translated Resolutions of the International Fiqh Academy into Anko Language

 

On the morning of Saturday, the 7th of Rabiu al-Aakhir 1444, corresponding to the 12th November 2022, at the Islamic Centre Hall in Bamako,  the Secretary General of the Union of African Muslim Scholars,  Dr Saheed Muhammad Babasila together with the Executive Director, Dr Umar Bamba and other members from the Headquarters country graced the occasion of distributing the translation work into  the Anko language of the resolution of the International Fiqh Academy.

 

The ceremony was mutually organized by the Union of African Muslim Scholars and the International Society for Anko Development, which is a registered organisation with the United States of America and has branches across many African countries.

 

The Secretary General on behalf of the Union’s President, Prof. Saheed Burhan expressed his appreciation for the Society and the International Fiqh Academy over their noticeable efforts in promoting the Islamic law and the Muslim Ummah at large, and commended the effective collaboration between the Union and the Society.

 

Some of those who graced the occasion include the representative of the Minister of Religious and Cultural Affairs, the President of the International Society for Anko Development,  its General Secretary and other stakeholders of the Anko language.
