Participation of the Secretary General and some members of the Union in the pioneer Master viva at the Sahel University
The Secretary General of the Union of African Muslim Scholars, who also doubles as the Vice-Chancellor of the Sahel University, Mali, attended on Thursday 9th Sha’ban, 1444, corresponding with 2nd March, 2023 the oral viva of Tijani Ibrahim Kita, which is the pioneer Postgraduate defense in the Sahel University. The title of the research is ” A Study of Selected Grammatical and Syntactic Views of Assayuti”. Two members of the Union of African Muslim Scholars, Dr. Ahmad Abdullah (project supervisor) and Prof. Harun Mega (internal examiner) were among the defense panel. Other scholars who graced the academic event were the Deputy Vice Chancellor of the University, Dr Umar Jakiti, the Coordinator of postgraduate school, Dr. Ibrahim Jabi and a large number of the academic members and students of the University.
The defence took almost three hours and was concluded by awarding the candidate with distinction.
